GT-1® Competition

Kendall GT-1 Competition Motor Oil Nitro 70 is a high-quality automotive engine oil specially formulated for use in nitromethane- and alcohol- fueled drag racing vehicles. It is not recommended for use in passenger cars or light trucks.

Kendall GT-1 Competition Motor Oil 20w-50 with LiquiTek protection additive is a high-quality, conventional automotive engine oil.  It contains a boosted level of zinc dialkyldithiophosphate (ZDDP) additive to provide additional wear protection and enhanced oxidation resistance in the most demanding applications.  The SAE 20W-50 viscosity grade is especially recommended for use in high-performance street engines and competition engines, including both gasoline- and alcohol-fueled racing vehicles.


Kendall® GT-1 Competition Motor Oil with Liquid Titanium is changing to a new LiquiTek additive package. This new additive formulation meets and exceeds the newest API SP and ILSAC GF-5 specifications.

GT-1 Competition is a high quality, conventional racing performance engine oil. This product is formulated to provide excellent wear protection, to minimize the formation of sludge and varnish, and to resist viscosity and thermal breakdown, even in severe service.

When selecting a product below, the weights with LiquiTek will have the new formulation, while those without will still be the Liquid Titanium formulation.


Kendall GT-1 Competition with Liquid Titanium is now changing to a new additive technology called LiquiTek. This new additive formulation meets and exceed the new API SP and ILSAC GF-6 Specifications.

This engine oil is especially recommended for use in high-performance street engines and competition engines, including both gasoline and alcohol-fueled racing vehicles.

Kendall GT-1 Competition 20W-50 with LiquiTek also contains a boosted level of zinc dialkyldithiophosphate (ZDDP) additive to provide additional wear protection and enhanced oxidation resistance in the most demanding applications. It is particularly recommended for use in turbocharged engines and in high-performance engines with flat-tappet camshafts, especially during the critical break-in period.
